I'm really dissapointed there isn't a seamless way to explore the huge library of stuff I've already created. Is there a workaround for this? Or plans to re-integrate google photos in the future? Wireless 360 browsing and display was a selling point on this device, for me. And, it doesn't properly display cylindrical 360 content shot via Cardboard Camera, meaning it's actually LESS functional than the old Google Cardboard route, despite being a better experience per photo once you go through the rigamarole of setting it up. The Oculus TV app just plops them all in a giant alphabetically sorted stack, and there's no way to navigate them except a long, linear scroll. This will show the 360 photo in a viewer that lets users explore the image in the browser, via Google. The only way to view my own 360 content is to download individual photos from google photos, which is a cumbersome nightmare, or directly load them to the headset via USB, which works but isn't ideal. Capture 360 Stereo in 4096 x 4096 resolution 3. I recently purchased an oculus quest 2, which I am mostly really enjoying, but I have been surprised to discover that this Gallery app no longer exists. 360 media, consisting of 360 videos and images, is a great way for developers to enhance traditional apps with immersive content. While researching headsets, I was lead to believe that even several years ago, Google Photos was integrated into Oculus's Gallery app, where you could browse and view 360 photos and videos. Until recently, the only way I had to view my own work was with a Google Cardboard headset and the Google Photos app. 4.5 star 48.1M reviews 5B+ Downloads Everyone info Install About this app arrowforward Google Photos is the home for all your photos and videos, automatically organized and easy to share. Google Photos has been able to backup 360 videos for a while now, but the playback for 360 videos only showed an equirectangular view, that is until at some point (perhaps at the same time as the launch of Google Backup and Sync) when it gained the ability to play 360 videos in 360 view.New Quest 2 Owner? - Everything you need to know about the Quest 2 Rules of the Oculus Subreddit Her achievements as an artist were long overshadowed by the story of Agostino Tassi raping her when she was a young woman and her participation in the trial of her rapist.Welcome to /r/Oculus, a place for Oculus fans to discuss VR. Gentileschi was known for being able to depict the female figure with great naturalism and for her skill in handling colour to express dimension and drama. When I would view them on Google Photos, it would display it as a photosphere, allowing you to pan around the photo. Thanks to a teardown made by AndroidPolice, we've been able to learn that Google plans to add a couple of improvements to the Photos app. Some of her best known subjects are Susanna and the Elders, Judith Slaying Holofernes, and Judith and Her Maidservant. Also I think Whirligig still has a free version on their website. Deo works well for VR content but it stretches normal side by side 3D photos. I use to take 3D photos and it was my only option to view them in VR for a long time. Whirligig has the best photo support I have seen. Many of Gentileschi's paintings feature women from myths, allegories, and the Bible, including victims, suicides, and warriors. Deo added photo support not too long ago. In an era when women had few opportunities to pursue artistic training or work as professional artists, Gentileschi was the first woman to become a member of the Accademia di Arte del Disegno in Florence and she had an international clientele. She was producing professional work by the age of fifteen. Gentileschi is considered among the most accomplished seventeenth-century artists, initially working in the style of Caravaggio. The coolant reservoir is a simple but important component of the cooling system, and when it has issues it can quickly lead to overheating and even engine damage. Any issue that causes engine overheating should be addressed as soon as possible in order to prevent any possible damage to the engine. If the coolant reservoir has any issue that prevents it from properly holding coolant, or from properly pressurizing the system it may cause the engine to overheat. Engine overheatingĪnother more serious symptom of a bad or failing coolant reservoir is the engine overheating. Small leaks may produce steam and drips, while larger leaks will produce streams and puddles, as well as an obvious coolant odor. If the coolant reservoir cracks or breaks due to old age or overheating it will leak. Coolant leaksĪnother symptom of a potential problem with the coolant reservoir is coolant leaks. The constant need to add coolant can also be caused by a leak somewhere else on the engine so a proper diagnosis is recommended. The leaks may be small enough that they may not be obvious to the driver, however, over time they will cause the reservoir to empty out. If the reservoir cracks or develops any small leaks it can cause the coolant it is storing to leak or evaporate at a slow rate. One of the first symptoms commonly associated with a bad or failing coolant reservoir is the need to constantly add coolant. Usually a bad or failing coolant reservoir will produce a few symptoms that can alert the driver that a problem has occurred and should be serviced. Because the coolant reservoir is part of the cooling system, when it has any issues it can quickly lead to issues with the engine. When the engine is cold, the pressure of the cooling system is low and more coolant is required, and when the engine is warm the pressure of the cooling system is increased and therefore less coolant is required.įor some vehicles, the coolant reservoir is an integral part of the system, and since it is also pressurized, the coolant reservoir becomes an even more important component to engine safety. Coolant reservoirs are required because engines go through cycles of expelling and absorbing coolant as they warm up and cool down. The coolant reservoir is the plastic reservoir mounted in the engine bay that stores the coolant for the engine. And the compartments have quick-release battery doors and cooling vents, providing extra protection while still allowing fast, convenient battery changes without needing to remove the body. First, it keeps the weight mounted low and centered, improving both handling and stability. There are integrated battery compartments molded right into the base of the chassis which have a couple key advantages. The most obvious is the battery mounting setup. All of that hardware is mounted into a fiber-reinforced composite monocoque chassis for extra rigidity, and it too features familiar hallmarks of the bigger Revo. It also uses similar shocks: adjustable threaded body oil-filled dampers mounted horizontally and actuated via rocker arms to keep the CG low and still give maximum travel and progressive damping to effectively soak up bumps and jumps. The 1/16 E-Revo uses scaled down version of its big brother’s suspension setup, starting with the same style pivot ball suspension for smooth articulation and ease of adjustment. Putting power to the wheels is a set of telescoping universal-joint driveshafts made of high-impact plastic with curvilinear splines to resist binding and increase durability. Under an easily removable gear cover there’s a slipper clutch that is adjustable for driving style or surface conditions. The heavy-duty single-speed transmission rides on rubber-sealed ball bearings for maximum efficiency and the sealed diffs come filled with silicone to increase traction control and resist wheelspin on any unloaded tire, something you don’t find on many minis. Its water-resistant case is O-ring sealed to give a measure of safety in any terrain or conditions. It has 2-stage voltage detection so it’s compatible with 2S or 3S LiPo power too. It’s also versatile, accepting the included 6-cell NiMH battery or the option for twin 6-cell packs for 14.4V and 50+mph. The VXL-3M is a three-mode design featuring a standard Sport setting with forward, brake, and reverse, a Race mode that locks out reverse, and a training mode that limits forward and reverse to 50-percent throttle maximum. The 8-turn 4000kv 380 is efficient and powerful, delivering smooth, consistent response. The Velineon Brushless Power System pairs a sensorless 380 brushless motor with the VXL-3M electronic speed control. The 1/16 E-Revo VXL may be small in size, but it’s certainly not undersize in the powertrain department. It shares its big brother’s advanced chassis design, yielding similar dynamic capabilities and feel while being considerably more practical and affordable, positioning it well to dominate the mini monster market the way its big brother did the 1/10 class years before. In VXL form it’s still insanely fast-good for 50+mph with the optional dual battery setup, and that feels even faster at the smaller size. It’s about half the size (12.9 inches), less than half the price ($270), and a fraction of the weight (about 2.5 pounds) of the bigger E-Revo. Impressively, it did so without sacrificing speed-VXL versions were rated for 70+mph on 6S power!Īt nearly 2 feet long and tipping the scales at more than 11 pounds the E-Revo was no lightweight, and at $600 was not exactly light on the wallet either. When it came time for a Revo reboot, Traxxas released a beefier, tougher truck better able to withstand the extremes of backyard basher bumps, jumps and crashes. In that setting, the E-Revo’s lightweight design, which had traded off some durability for track speed, seemed somewhat less at home. The industry spent the next few years catching up, but during that time the racing classes that the E-Revo had been designed to dominate kind of tailed off in popularity, and so monster trucks were mostly being bought for sport bashing rather than competition. As its name implies, the E-Revo revolutionized the electric monster truck segment when it first came out-its lightweight design and advanced suspension offered a level of dynamic capability that made everything else seem outdated almost overnight. The open space should be between the head of the bed and the fence gate. These need to have at least four blocks of floor space each: Two for a bed, one for a job site block, and one for the villager to stand. These can be separated by walls, fences or blocks, with a fence-gate for you to get in or let a villager in or out. The core of the trading hall is the series of cubicles where the villagers spend their lives. Entry should be blocked by fence gates or iron doors to prevent escapes, and the entire building needs to be well-lit and otherwise defended from invading monsters otherwise the design and appearance is up to you. He said that the historical preservationists who want to save the building have come into the picture too late. Greg Akarakian, whose father has owned the theater since 1975, said his family has no plans to restore the theater to its original condition. “Down the road, if economic conditions merit it, you could convert it back.” The seat cushions have been pulled up and stacked in piles.īut Charlie Fisher, a member of the board of directors of Highland Park Heritage Trust, said the building “is restorable.” “The original interior is still there,” he said. The grand chandelier that once hung over the house is lying on the floor there, covered in dust. Today, the balcony, where the frescoes and moldings are still exposed, is filthy and closed to the public. The once-outdoor lobby was enclosed and the original walls in the lobby and in the theater were covered with other material. If approved by the Los Angeles City Council, the monument designation would mean that any plan to alter or demolish the building could be delayed for up to one year, while preservationists seek a means of saving it.īut while the outer walls of the theater are virtually the same as they were when the structure was built in 1924, the interior had already been substantially altered when it was divided into a triplex theater in 1983. The 1982 deadline passed with the ERA falling three states short of the 38 needed for ratification. However, anti-ERA groups and activists ramped up their opposition during that time, successfully mobilizing factions against the ERA and stalling the momentum the movement had enjoyed throughout the country. Upon reaching the original deadline without achieving the requisite number of state ratifications, advocates for the ERA convinced Congress to extend the deadline until 1982. When the ERA passed in 1972, the legislation included a seven-year deadline. Why Wasn’t the ERA Ratified Back in the 1970s and 1980s? When the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) was passed by Congress in 1972, it was the culmination of a fight that had already lasted nearly four decades-and is still far from over. Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.Īccording to a 2016 survey commissioned by the ERA Coalition, a whopping 94 percent of people in the United States would support an amendment enshrining gender equality into the Constitution. Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article. Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex. The entire text of the proposed amendment is: The ERA is a very simple amendment putting protection for women and other marginalized genders directly into the United States Constitution. What is the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA)? Many years later the Supreme Court interpreted the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to protect women to an extent, but a special category was created for gender that offers far less protection than other protected categories like race, religion or national origin. Women were never part of “the people” they envisioned in the Constitution. Constitution were all white, landholding (and many slave-holding) men. One short sentence would make all the difference to ensure people protections under the Constitution, regardless of sex or gender. Aren’t women already protected in the Constitution?Ĩ0 percent of people in the United States think that men and women are guaranteed equal rights in the U.S. The Equal Rights Amendment would put protection for women and other marginalized genders directly into the United States Constitution.
